Quiet | Kind | A bit oblivious | Inappropriate | A bit mean | Can be quite blunt | Tolerant | Doormat | Curious
Quiet: Tomo isn't one to talk much during group conversations, let alone one-on-one conversations. He will reply when necessary and will chuckle when someone tells a joke, whether it's bad or not. Although he's quiet, he knows not to make a conversation awkward, despite not wanting to talk in the first place.
Kind: He's very kind to those he meets, and always tries to make a good first impression. Tomo tries not to be angry or upset with others, often allowing them to act freely and as mean as they like.
A bit oblivious: Not in terms of surroundings, but more in terms of what people are trying to say. Of course, he'll chuckle at a bad innuendo or a terrible pick up line, but he's quite oblivious when people try to beat around the bush when they are talking. He prefers if people are more straightforward with what they say because otherwise he's got no clue with what is happening.
Inappropriate: Despite his appearance and the rest of his personality in a whole, he can be inappropriate sometimes. Tomo will not hold back from laughing at a dirty joke nor will he hold back from making one. He laughs at rude gestures, rude remarks and everything in between. Often this becomes a disappointment for those quiet people who try to be friends with him. LAFF
A bit mean: When he's seriously had enough of your bullshit, then he's not going to hold back from swearing or insulting you. This can often happen if he's just plain done with you or if you try to insult or hurt those he cares for. So stay away from his pets, guys- (#HASNOREALFRIENDSHAHA)
Can be quite blunt: After he's warmed up to you and he's done with his angelic first impression, he's going to become a bit more carefree around you. He is quite blunt with his words, and won't beat around the bush when he's talking or if your asking for critique or the like. He's going to outright say how he feels and if you don't like it, then he's outta here, mate.
Tolerant: Even if he has some bad traits when he snaps, he has a great tolerance for people. After all, teenagers will be teenagers and everyone has their own faults, even him. So, who is he to judge others for how they act? ...Well, that's his mindset until he's finally done with you.
Doormat: Tomo is pretty much a doormat once you get to know him. He likes running errands for others and doesn't exactly mind when people tell him what to do. To an extent, of course.
Curious: Obviously, he grew up a quite curious child - this was what made him interested in Seishun High in the first place. When he's curious about something, he's not so afraid to voice his thoughts, but is rather worried about how people would react to it.

B i o g r a p h y

Growing up as a child, he was always separated from the other children. He grew up in his home, being home-schooled by his parents and when they weren't there, he self-taught himself with the power of the internet reading. There was one main reason as to why he wasn't allowed to go to public schools and the like. It was because he was fragile and weak. He was never offended when his parents told him that, because it was true. He was fragile and weak. Just a couple of minutes in being in the snow without enough jackets and he'd be sick for a week or two. But despite not being able to communicate with those from the 'outside', he liked being at home. His parents were wealthy and thus there were enough things there that were able to entertain him. Like the amount of bookshelves they had or the small greenhouse they had at the back in which Tomo was able to tend to. He loved tending to the greenhouse. There were always such lovely plants and flowers that would grow in accordance to the seasons. It made him curious but most of all it made him happy. Most of his childhood consisted of being in the greenhouse or tending to the flower beds around his home.

He was content with his life. When Tomo was 14, his health was just a tad bit better than usual. Stepping outside in Summer wasn't as tiring as usual and spacing out during Spring didn't give him hay fever as per usual. So then, his parents asked him if he wanted to try being in a school for once. He, of course, was against it. Tomo didn't know what kids his age were like, and as childish as it may sound, he didn't want to know. Often in the books he'd read, teenagers were depicted as loud and/or obnoxious. He wasn't angry but rather, he was scared of what was out there. His parents didn't want to push him any further and they continued to home-school him and bring a tutor from outside every now and then.

The age of 16 was when Tomo finally became curious. After having a tutor from 'outside', he heard stories of what high school was like and everything that came with it. He was intrigued. Although he still had a small fear of others, he still he was curious. When he finally told his parents that he wanted to go to high school, they were slightly hesitant. After hours of persuading, he was allowed to go. And there was one school that Tomo wanted to go to. And that was Seishun High.

Seishun High. It was the school he had heard about from neighbours who would pass by Tomo's home, talking about a school that was for animal hybrids. He became even more curious and was set on going to that school considering other schools didn't have such students.
