Kabuto is kind and courteous to those he meets, never wanting to make a bad first impression. He’s one to offer his umbrella when it’s raining or to offer a spare towel during practice should someone else forget to bring their own. It’s his way of building a good reputation among his peers at the school. Additionally, he’s humorous in nature - always having a witty joke at the tip of his tongue or a light-hearted flirty remark with the other students. However, he sees it all as good fun and hardly intends to harm others with his words. Should it somehow insult someone unintentionally, he’ll offer his apologies and perhaps a lunch to a nearby cafe!

He’s very physical in the way he communicates with his peers - whether it be an arm over a person’s shoulder, hug upon greeting or an arm against the wall, it’s more than likely for a student (who knows him) to experience so upon greeting him. Although he purely means it as a normal greeting, it can be quite annoying to some. Additionally, Kabuto is a natural flirt, often little compliments and winks slipping out like it was nothing. Though, he barely means anything by flirting, he’s not afraid at all to continue shamelessly, which can, in fact confuse others in return.

Despite the courteous side of Eda Kabuto, he is known to be quite irrational at times - often one to ignore others or stay quiet for days should he not get his way. Although understanding of certain situations, he’s tired of having little power in the home - due to his parents - and does not want that to reflect on his control at school. Though quite irritated his control from his previous school hadn't carried over onto his new one, he's still looking for ways in gaining a dominating position in Ikehara High. Conclusively, although it’s not obvious at first, Kabuto is a known narcissist, taking pride in his appearance and making it known to others. Although this does show his never-ending confidence, it can take quite an effect in relation to how he communicates with his peers at school.

Growing up with his parents and his sister seemed like an easy thing, however it was anything but. He and his younger sister lived in a household which contained strict rules - restricting much of his and her activity inside and outside of the house. Though seemingly, he did not let such rules affect him in any way. Most of his days were spent jogging with his younger sister, and alternatively, making visits to the local basketball court to practice in silence. At school, he was fairly known for his height, appearance and involvement in the basketball club - which had succeeded in him getting a fairly high reputation.

Being the local pretty boy at his previous school had its own implications as he began to change - definitely not for the better. Frequently leaving the house to meet with friends or friends of friends, Kabuto began to ignore his responsibilities at home - which was to say the least of his worries. However, the good implications of his popularity did not last for long - as inevitable rumors and gossip began to spread throughout his school. Being a very good basketball player and one who had confidence in his own appearance, it was more than likely that rumors would spread. After all, what better way to pass time?

Of course, these rumors made its way to the ears of his parents and teachers - and although both parties did try to believe that these were just in fact, rumors, his parents had decided that the best course of action was to ensure that by the time he moved the next year, his final year, he would move to a school that had little to no ties to the previous school he was in. Moving to Ikehara High in his first year, he’d encountered no trouble among his peers, and hopefully won’t, in the following years to come.
